What is Pascal Wager? How can it be tied to rebirth and global warming?

Personally, when there are many questions to answer about the universe, I would go with Pascal's Wager, who set precedence for modern day probability.

Pascal Wager states that it is better to believe in god, if that were to drive us in the right direction, and I do believe.

By the way, Pascal Wager was not about exploiting people, probability, and planet in the name of god. Pascal Wager is not about which god is better.

Who is Pascal?

Pascal was a polymath, meaning a person with abilities in multiple areas, who is considered to be one of the early contributors in the area of probability. Pascal believed in God, and captured his views using Pascal's Wager.

His point of view was that, if believing in god turns out to be false, it could lead to only a finite loss, but the gains are monumental, if the belief turned out to be true, however miniscule of a chance, it could be.

In the same way, even if there were to be certain element of truth to rebirth, and global warming, the impact could be monumental.

When it comes to global warming, one recent example being potential shortage of chocolate in the coming years.

Disney Heiress against tax cuts that gave $12 billion in tax savings to big banks.

Disney Heiress against tax cuts that gave $12 billion in tax savings to big banks. Disney Heiress speech is a strong statement against these tax cuts. This policy rewarding the banks, and the bank executives for their poor and high risk-taking behavior, along with the repeated favorable treatment for the top 1% of the wealthiest should not be an ongoing saga, if we, the people, are collectively concerned about addressing issues such as, health care needs for an ageing population, energy and resources demand, global climate change, increasing population density, and other interrelated issues in the 21st century. For that matter, these big banks are just intermediary units to Central banks. It is high time that Central banks around the world start considering a way to connect directly to the citizens rather than having intermediary middle body in the form of big banks. This action would save trillions of dollars around the globe. https://youtu.be/WH1NihRN5cU
